Last Friday, May 7th...
going BACK into time... to THE SEVENTIES!!!!
hehe. I went to PAC Formal this year and it was SOOOO much fun. My date was the lovely Bermellyn Nefalar. ::sigh:: It felt like being in high school again.. hehe. But yeah, it was great to see all the PAC people since I haven't seen them since PCN .... or Rosarito, if they went! [that's a different story though, right?! right.. haha] I think the bond between the two, PAC and PACmodern, has been tight this year and it was fun to celebrate the end of the year together at the beautiful REEF restaurant in the Long Beach Harbor. It was cool to dress up all 70's and "we" [as in our table + Valex.. hehe] made our grand entrance, fashionably late... in our gear.. the pictures speak for themselves so enjoy... you better enjoy!!! I edited EVERY DAMN ONE! hehe.. to make the color look phenomenal... hey, I tried...

**just in case anyone is wondering... so far, all my photos will be old ones... until I'm all caught up posting all of them. then I will be in the present day posting of my pictures.. until then.. have fun reminiscing with me and all these photos.. hehe**
this day began with me hanging out with marj and rob.. we were SUPPOSED to go to the Museum of Tolerance, but we got stuck in traffic. We went to Venice Beach instead... we walked around and then went to eat at this place that Nessa's mom took Marj and Nes. Marj really wanted some mango sticky rice... but alas... they discountinued it! Oh no. So we ate there anyway and went back to Ventura County. While chillen at Marj's, we decided to see if this one Thai place in Camarillo had it... no luck. We headed to Oxnard to meet up with Nes at the imfamous Mandalay Starbucks.. and while online with my laptop, I had a stroke of genius.. HAHA. I looked online for the recipe and tada! We found it. A quick trip to Ralph's across the parking lot and we were ready to go. Back to my house... mmmm... it was fun making.. even more fun eating.. BUT DAMN, that was sweet... hehe.. MANGO STICKY RICE. Marj was happy!

Channel Islands Co-ed Dance Team 2004 [the MATRIX]
|
|
Ahhh... the Co-ed kids. I have to say that this year has been a pretty interesting one. When I signed on to choreograph this year's Co-ed routine, I knew it was going to be a lot of work, but I did not expect it to be that hard... ::sigh:: But we worked through it and accomplished so much. I love you guys... from the bottom of my heart. We worked hard this year, and it shows... so many people, not only from our school, but from ALL THE OTHER SCHOOLS: they noticed and commented on how great the routine is.... good job... but remember, it's not just how good the routine is, it's the dancers who make it a reality... it's you guys who made The Matrix come to life. And for USA Nationals: we'll get them next year, right?! RIGHT!.. hehe.. I love you guys!
This year's accomplishments :
WEST COVINA - 1st Place
NATIONAL STREET DANCE USA - 1st Place [I still can't believe we beat Alhambra's Large Dance! ]
USA REGIONALS - 1st Place
WEST TORRANCE - Disqualified [haha... Ejay flipping Nick is illegal?! Who cares! It's all for the love of dance... we don't care if you disqualify us... we just love to perform, so there! Rules are meant to be BROKEN!]
USA NATIONALS - 2nd Place
DRILL TEAM USA- 1st Place

Rosarito, Mexico... Spring Break... enough said
|
|
Damn... what can I say except for the fact that those 3 days were some crazy, memorable, happy moments in my life. Everything that you've ever though about, seen in movies, or read about concerning Spring Break, well... it's all true and THEN SOME. haha. PAC and PACmodern have never been this close. At least, in my eyes they haven't. It was memorable, to say the least. Papas & Beer, Rock & Roll Taco, Macho Taco... April 5, 6, & 7... ::sigh:: can't wait till next year!
[P.S... if you notice.. some of my picture are sideways... I didn't notice that until halfway from posting the pictures that I didn't rotate them. BUT.. I want them to be in the order that they happpened on the trip: the order I took them... there's no way for me to take them and rotate them on fotopages.com.. without deleting them and doing it myself.. I think. so .. alas.. just tilt you head! haha... or when you copy them onto your computer, which I know some of you will do, rotate them! haha .. okay.. sorry for the inconvenience... ]
